A FORMER participant on BBC's Garden Rescue has revealed a secret condition to being on the show that viewers don't see.
The show sees Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers compete to design gardens for home owners around the country.
Each comes up with a design to suit the space and the budget and the garden owner chooses which gets built.
But like all TV programmes there's always behind-the-scenes details that the viewers don't get to see.
A former contestant took to TikTok and revealed "certain requirements"to be on the show.
They said: "You have to show proof of at least £3000 to spare on the garden transformation because it comes out of your pocket."

The recent episode of Garden Rescue saw Charlie Dimmock was left begging after a major problem with a £5000 transformation.
Charlie, 56, was once again at the helm of the show and was tasked with revamping Helen and John's backyard.
She and her competitor Chris Hull battled it out to win over the Welsh couple with their designs.

Helen and John's dream garden theme was a Cornish one, which Charlie incorporated into her design earning her the £5,000 to overhaul the space.
However, the project quickly ran into problems when £1,000 of Cornish flora got trapped in a van.
