THIS Morning was thrown into chaos as Alison Hammond told bosses: "Take the camera off me."

The 48-year-old's eyes started streaming during a live interview.



She asked her co-host Dermot O'Leary: "Sorry can I get a tissue?"

Explaining what was wrong, Alison added: "I've got really bad hayfever that's just come on."

Dermot grabbed a tissue from the studio's coffee table, as they interrupted an interview with Dr Megan Rossi.

"Is this to do with my gut health?," Alison asked.

Dr Rossi replied: "There is a lot connection there."

Alison then halted the conversation once again.

She said: "I'm sorry I just have to blow my nose."

Alison looked down the camera, telling producers: "Don't put the camera on me for one second. Thank you."

Dermot couldn't help but laugh as Alison could be heard blowing her nose off-camera.

She then had to reply her make-up on her nose after blowing it off.

"It's so embarrassing," Alison added.

Dermot replied: "You look good bubba. Are you done? Amazing."

Alison admitted: "I'm so embarrassed."

Some fans were worried about Alison after watching today's show.

One said: "Alison seems distracted today."

Another said: "Alison ever the consummate professional – don't think I've ever seen a presenter have to sort out a runny nose on tv before. Muppet."
