THIS Morning fans were left baffled today by Home and Away star Melissa George’s accent – as she sounded French.
The star, 46, who was born in Australia and used to sound like it, now resides in France and her accent is completely different.
Those watching at home were caught off guard by her new voice and took to Twitter to comment on it.
One person wrote: “Watching an interview with Melissa George, and it seems like she's totally phased out her Australian accent. #ThisMorning.”
A second commented: “As soon as she said she lived in France she put on a French twang… 🤷🏼♀️.”
While a third added: “Melissa’s accent has rather changed since her Home & Away days #ThisMorning.”

The actress appeared on the show to talk about her show The Mosquito Coast, which she stars in alongside Justin Theroux.
Melissa rose to fame when she landed the role of Angel Parrish in Home and Away in 1993.
She arrived on the show as a teenage runaway and had an on-screen relationship with Shane Parrish.

They became one of the soap's most-loved couples of all time, until Melissa left the role in 1996.
She then moved to America and landed some big TV and film roles.
The actress later relocated to France with her then husband Jean David Blanc, who she shares sons Raphael and Solal with.
