This Morning fans worry for Holly Willoughby saying 'she looks like she's been crying all night' | The Sun
CONCERNED This Morning fans claimed Holly Willoughby looked like she had been "crying all night" after her queue-jump backlash.
Holly appeared gripped with emotion at the start of today's show after she and Phillip Schofield were slammed for seeing the Queen lying in state without joining the public queue.
Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield were yesterday forced to defend themselves on the show after calls for the pair to be axed over the scandal.
The presenting duo used media passes to access Westminster Hall last Friday while other celebrities queued for up to 14 hours alongside members of the public.
Wednesday's episode of This Morning kicked off with no mention of a growing petition to have them sacked – which doubled overnight to 36,000 signatures.
However, viewers said Holly, 41, appeared emotional and "not herself" as the programme went live at 10am today.

The Sun revealed Holly and Phil have called in lawyers after a huge backlash from the public and fellow TV broadcasters.
A source close to Holly said: “She’s utterly devastated. It’s been an incredibly tough few days.”
On yesterday’s ITV show Holly and co-host Phil, 60, did a segment addressing online claims they were “too posh to queue” outside Westminster Hall.
Speaking over a montage of people lining to see the coffin, Holly said they went in as accredited broadcasters, adding: “It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions who weren’t able to visit in person.”
One viewer responded after the apology: “Show us the report they did from inside the hall then we can see they were working and the situation is resolved.
“If there isn’t one and there is no footage of them in the hall they didn’t need to be in there.”
Viewer Annie, added: “What a disgrace Holly and Phil are.
“No apology, just a very insincere voiceover.”
