Tipping Point fans convinced player is sabotaging game with ‘mind-blowing’ tactic | The Sun
TIPPING Point fans were left baffled by one contestant who appeared to sabotage his own chances of winning big on the show.
Ben Shephard welcomed another batch of contestants to see if they had what it takes to make it through and secure victory on the programme.
Having beaten off the competition, Jim made it through to the final round where he had the chance to play for £10,000 on the ITV game show.
But many viewers of the programme were left confused by his tactics and claimed that he was actively trying not to secure the jackpot.
When asked by host Ben how many counters he wanted to place into the machine, he said 'one' a number of times as opposed to playing all three available counters.
On Twitter, one fan declared: "It's like this guy doesn't want to win!"

A third joked: "He's done a great job of trying not to win the jackpot."
Whilst a fourth fumed at the player, saying: "F**king pr**k doesn't realise there isn't actually a different question for 1, 2 and 3 counters."
Jim failed to secure the jackpot, as predicted by the show's avid fans, and instead walked away with a respectable £3,100.
