Tracy calls Ken a ‘geriatric gigolo’ as she reacts to Wendy romance in Corrie

Fact: Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) was never going to react well to Ken’s (William Roache) new romance with Wendy Crozier (Roberta Kerr) in Coronation Street.

It is largely down to the fact when Wendy and Ken were last together, it was an affair, which broke Deidre’s (Anne Kirkbride) heart.

While Wendy and Ken have agreed to leave the past in the past and move on, the same cannot be said for our Trace, who’s taken great pleasure in hurling abusive comments towards Wendy whenever they cross paths.

Last week, Mary’s (Patti Claire) AmDram play was the catalyst for Ken admitting to Wendy that he’s started developing feelings for her again.

Initially, Wendy couldn’t find the words to tell Ken how she feels but after sleeping on it, they agreed they do really like each other and yes, they absolutely deserve happiness!

While the likes of Amy (Elle Mulvaney), Daniel (Rob Mallard) and Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) have all welcomed Ken’s new romance, we all knew Tracy’s reaction wasn’t going to be a positive one.

Once she had worked out what was going on, she burst into the bistro and interrupted a book launch event – ready to make a show of herself.

‘There he is! Geriatric gigolo!’, Tracy called out.

Suffice to say she was determined to embarrass her dad and Tracy did just that, calling Ken a ‘dirty dog’ and eventually being thrown out by Daniel.

But will Tracy ever truly allow Ken to be happy with Wendy?
