TV presenter brands hosting This Morning with Richard Madeley ‘worst job ever’
One TV presenter has blasted working on This Morning as her “worst job ever” as she worked alongside Richard Madeley.
Jenny Powell has appeared on everything from Loose Women to Lorraine over the years, but the ITV show which proved the most difficult was filling in for Judy Finnigan on This Morning.
She worked on the series in 2011, filling in for Richard’s wife Judy when she was absent for a few weeks.

But it wasn’t the nicest experience, Jenny warned.
Speaking to The Sun’s Bingo Live show, she said: “My worst job would have to be doing This Morning with Richard Madeley for a few weeks when Judy was off.
"I found that quite challenging.”
She added: “It's difficult to replace someone temporarily – someone who's been working with their husband and then all of a sudden you're there."
Jenny also chatted to the publication about her decision to quit Loose Women, confessing she “didn’t like the energy” when the cameras weren’t rolling, and felt “intimidated” by her fellow panelists.
The host confessed she might just be “a bit sensitive”, but made the decision to “sack it off” nonetheless.
But her ITV daytime shows weren’t the only things Jenny didn’t like about her career, confessing on a new podcast that she “hated” being the ‘glamorous assistant’ on Wheel of Fortune.
She first appeared on the gameshow in 1995.

She said: “You're just turning letters round and not saying anything.
“I ended up doing The Wheel of Fortune, which I hated it. It was the biggest thing, but I hated it. Because I was just a girl turning bloody letters around.”
Jenny went on: “If someone said to you, right Jenny you are going to wear a really short skirt and we are all going to discuss the length of it for like four meetings, wear high heel shoes and turn some letters around and just look pretty and don't say anything.
“Would you do it? I know what I would tell my daughter today.”
