Vicky Pattison praises 'girl crush' Amanda Holden as she plots major career switch | The Sun
SHE was crowned Queen of the I'm A Celeb jungle in 2015.
And now Vicky Pattison has set her sights on becoming Queen of the airwaves.
The reality TV star, 34, has told how she hopes to follow in the footsteps of Amanda Holden and land her own Heart Radio Show after bagging a guest slot this week on Heart North East.
Vicky told The Sun : "Amanda Holden is my absolute girl crush.
"I am obsessed with her.
"So any links or comparisons between myself and her I will always take as a huge compliment.
"I love Jamie, Amanda and Ashley on Heart, it’s one of my favourite breakfast listens, so yes the dream for me is definitely to have my own show and to join the Heart family permanently."
Vicky Pattison added: "So let’s see how it goes, hopefully I will impress and all the northern listeners like me.

"I am feeling really nervous but super excited."
All this week, Vicky has been been stepping in to host the drive time show of Heart North East.
Admitting she was terrified ahead of her first show on Monday, Vicky said: "I was really stressed about my first day.
"Honestly was am shaking. I know you would think I am confident as I have a podcast and do live TV all the time but it's a whole new medium and I am really worried about my potty mouth."

The Sun understands that Vicky's move into radio has been on the cards for a while, with the former Geordie Shore star secretly attending test trail sessions with bosses at Heart.
An insider said: "Vicky has a great connection with the nation and is instantly personable but sometimes on radio it can be hard to connect.

However, it only took a few tests before bosses realised she was a natural.
"Obviously behind the scenes there are producers to help her with the technical side of things so all she has to worry about is being herself. So far everyone is really impressed."
