Viewers call This Morning tone deaf as presenters jet off to glam destinations
ITV's This Morning has been called "tone deaf" for sending its stars off to glam destinations amid the current cost of living crisis.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are still in the studio but in the last couple of days they have introduced segments showing travel writer Kat Farmer and wine expert Helen McGinn in Switzerland.
Meanwhile, image consultant Gok Wan is in Mauritius.

While plenty of viewers have enjoyed seeing items devoted to the countries, others reckon it's a bit off given that many people are having to draw in their belts.
One tweeted to ask This Morning why viewers would want to see Kat and Helen in Switzerland "or Gok Wan on a jolly in Mauritius".
"You're absolutely tone deaf to what's happening in the real world!!!" the viewer wrote, adding the hashtag "#readtheroom".
Another fumed: "Gok to the Maldives (sic) and these two. #ThisMorning is really tone deaf when people are struggling."
One viewer chimed in: "I just turned the telly on and Gok Wan is flapping around Mauritius talking about a competition on #ThisMorning.
"What an absolute waste of money. People in this country can't afford to eat or heat their homes and @ITV throw money away sending someone to Mauritius."
"What a joke!" they added.
Another mentioned the fact that another ITV star, Andi Peters – who works on This Morning as well as Good Morning Britain – is in Egypt.
"For f***'s sake, Gok's in Mauritius, Andi Peters is in Egypt and the wine woman's on a jolly in Switzerland…" they tweeted.
