Who dies in Hollyoaks Endgame stunt week explosion?
The following article contains major spoilers for Hollyoaks huge stunt episode, which can now be viewed on All4.
Hollyoaks’ long-awaited stunt week is finally here, and with just about everyone in danger, it’s safe to say that viewers will be on the edge of their seat as the Endgame arrives!
The eponymous village is rocked by a number of catastrophic explosions during the carnival event – arranged by Tony and Diane Hutchinson (Nick Pickard and Alex Fletcher) – which will put everyone in mortal peril.
The cause of said explosions is the villainous Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle), who has returned one final time to exact his long-desired revenge on the McQueen clan, hoping this time to carry out his mission and murder Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe).
The killer’s primary objective, however, is to get his hands on grandson Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox), believing himself to be much more capable of raising the little lad than Mercedes.
With all hell set to break loose during Wednesday’s (September 28) hour-long E4 stunt offering, it’s pretty clear that every resident currently residing in the village is in huge danger – and there’s already been confirmation of at least one death, with the subsequent episode set to see the McQueens questioned over a mystery demise.
But just who will die amid the stunt week horror?
Who dies in Hollyoaks Endgame stunt week?
Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) dies in Hollyoaks’ hour-long stunt outing.
The serial killer meets his maker in twisted scenes, after he invites the McQueen clan to join him for a game of chess on an electrified life-size board, in which they are the pawns!
But a huge twist sees Bobby push his granddad onto the board, which kills the murderer instantly, much to Mercedes’ shock.
Silas isn’t the only death, however, as DS Lexi Calder (Natalie Anderson) – while searching for Bobby amid the carnival chaos – ends up getting attacked by Silas.
There are a number of other possible casualties throughout the episode, including Theresa (Jorgie Porter) and Goldie (Chelsee Healey), who are trapped by Silas in an escape room, which is centred in the village during the carnival fun.
Silas has planted an explosive device underneath the escape room, and the latest episode of the Channel 4 soap saw him demand that Theresa and Goldie choose between them which of them will die, making it clear that only one of them will walk away with their life intact.

Mercedes is also in huge danger, given that Silas has her trapped in his underground lair, as is Olivia Bradshaw (Emily Burnett), who has been left to fend for herself after Mercedes did a runner.
Shaq Qureshi (Omar Malik) and Verity Hutchinson (Eva O’Hara) are also in peril, as they race each other on the climbing wall and ultimately find themselves stuck up there when a bomb goes off, leaving them with no option but to keep climbing.
Matters, however, are complicated further when one of them is endangered by a second unexpected explosion.
And away from all the Silas drama, we’ve got Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) and Norma Crow (Glynis Barber), who both fall from a great height after a huge bombshell is dropped.
Last but by no means least, there is James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan), who is facing death at the hands of Norma, after she found out that he had reported her to the police.

In sinister scenes, Norma led him to a coffin with him name on it – and seemingly shut the lid! Is his time up?
Hollyoaks Endgame airs its hour-long stunt episode on Wednesday September 28 at 7pm on E4.
