Babatunde is an actor, writer, and comedian.
In recent years, he has toured Britain doing stand up comedy.
He won Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards and has performed at venues like the O2 and the Hackney Empire.
In 2019 Aléshé won the Amused Moose National New Comic Award and was selected to appear on Dave Chapelle’s live showcase The Process.

When was Babatunde Aléshé on EastEnders?
Babatunde played Sam, the specialist nurse who tends to Tanya Jessop (Jo Joyner) when she has her first chemotherapy session back in 2011.
A few weeks later Sam has to tell Tanya that her friend and fellow cancer patient, Siobhan has died, and looks after her when she has a panic attack.
Tanya's daughter Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) goes to the hospital to see her mother and meets Sam.
