WILL Mellor shot to fame in the 90s on Hollyaoks, and since then he has seen the acting roles pour in.
But now the Northerner is taking on his biggest challenge yet, Strictly Come Dancing.
Who is Will Mellor?
Born on April 3, 1976 in Bredbury, Greater Manchester, Will Mellor landed his first acting job on ITV kids show, Children's Ward.
But it wasn't until the 46-year-old Stockport native joined Hollyoaks for their first ever series in 1995 playing Jambo, that he became a household name.
Since then, Will has appeared in numerous TV series, modelled for Topman and voiced television adverts.
After leaving Hollyoaks, his next best known role was the character Gaz Wilkinson in Two Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
Other famous television series Will has been in include Casualty, EastEnders, White Van Man, Broadchurch, Line of Duty, and Waterloo Road.
In August 2022 it was revealed he was returning to Coronation to reprise his role of of Harvey Gaskell.

Who is Will Mellor's wife Michelle McSween?
Is Will Mellor married and does she have any children?
Will met dancer Michelle McSween back in 1999.
They were both starring in the stage musical Oh, What a Night at the time.
They made it official and tied the knot in 2007.
Will and Michelle have two children named Jayden and Renee.

What has Will Mellor said about being on Strictly?
On August 8, 2022 Will was revealed as the first celebrity to be taking part in Strictly 2022.
He told the BBC: "I'm honestly so chuffed to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this year!
"Not going to lie, it's totally out of my comfort zone and I know it will be a huge challenge but that's what life is all about.
"This is also my Mum's favourite show and she’s had a really tough few years so I’m doing this is for her as well. Bring it on!”
