Will Kirk wont be returning for The Travelling Auctioneers season 2
Lorraine: Will Kirk on his new show ‘The Travelling Auctioneers’
The Travelling Auctioneers put an unusual twist on a classic format when it made its debut in October 2022.
Starring antiques expert Christina Trevanion and restoration mastermind Will Kirk, they made their way up and down the country in their little blue camper van to help families make some extra cash.
The duo would visit their homes, and pick out any items which could be worth something, Will would then give it some TLC before Christina took it to auction.
Christina and Will got on like a house on fire, often seen laughing and messing about before getting stuck into their work to give people a helping hand.
Fans will be thrilled to learn The Travelling Auctioneers has been renewed for a second outing but it won’t be exactly like the first series.
Is Will Kirk returning for The Travelling Auctioneers season 2?
Unfortunately, The Repair Shop star Will Kirk isn’t going to be back for season two.
The 38-year-old hasn’t explained why he isn’t returning for the new lot of episodes, so far keeping quiet on the show’s renewal without him.
Instead, Christina is going to be joined by a new line-up of hosts, giving the series a similar vibe to Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip with various presenters.
While Will shall be missed, his replacements are also experienced in the world of antiques and restoration.

The first of the three new hosts is Invictus Games medalist and Strictly Come Dancing star, JJ Chalmers.
Before winning a gold medal at the iconic games, he was a craft, design and technology teacher who plans to put his broad range of restoration skills to good use on The Travelling Auctioneers.
Star of Quest’s The Woodland Workshop, Robin Johnson, was also a DT teacher before setting up his own business specialising in bespoke metal and wood furniture.
They will be joined by Antiques Road Trip and Bargain Hunt star Izzie Balmer who leads a specialist jewellery and silver department in a Wiltshire salesroom when she isn’t on TV.

Commenting on the new line-up, Christina said: “I’m thrilled that The Travelling Auctioneers is coming back for another series and itching to get back out on the road in our trusty little blue van!
“We’ll once again be covering the length and breadth of the country to see what treasures we can uncover and what beautiful pieces we can give a new lease of life to.
“It’s really exciting to welcome Izzie, JJ and Robin to the Travelling Auctioneers family – their combined skills and experience will be a huge asset to our team.”
The Travelling Auctioneers season 2 will air later this year on BBC One.
