This black bear understood that it’s never a good thing to let good food go to waste – especially when you’re not invited.
The huge animal crashed a party in the northeastern Mexico city of San Pedro Garza García and made its way to the buffet table.
It surveyed the available options before deciding on one of the main dishes as shocked guests and caterers looked on, a viral TikTok video showed.
The creature continued to pick on the food before a person filming the incident repeatedly instructed one of the workers to ‘leave him.’

The large bear showed up uninvited to a recent party in Mexico and decided to taste some of the food that was set up on a table for guests in attendance
The footage, shared by TikToker @ajferoli, showed the bear pausing briefly, apparently because of a full stomach, before it stood on its hind legs and went back for more.
The video has had more than 84,000 views since it was posted Saturday.
One of the followers said the animal was deserving of a beer while another chimed in that the ‘bear wasn’t gonna pass up on good food.’
A TikToker joked the party planners were ‘to blame because you didn’t invite him, he sure lives nearby.’

The incident was reminiscent of the stunning moment a black bear interrupted Ricardo Morales’ marriage propose to his girlfriend, Cecilia Canabal, in October 2022.
Morales was on a knee and about to place the engagement ring on Canabal’s finger when the mammal walked across a terrace at Chipinque Ecological Park.
‘Before the bear passes, we listened to the gardeners and the people from the hotel, from the restaurant, they told us not to be afraid,’ Morales then told DailyMail.com. ‘There was no sense of nervousness, of fear towards the bear because it was not aggressive.’
According to a study conducted by the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, the state is home to at least 38 black bears.
Mexico’s Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has recognized that the animal is an endangered species because parts of its habitat corridor has been urbanized over the years.
Authorities constantly are sharing tips in the event that Chipinque Ecological Park visitors or residents in nearby towns come across bears.
They have warned people not to approach them and to refrain from bothering them, and also advised folks to keep food away from the bears and not to leave trash around.
“Don’t feed them or throw food at them, and please don’t hit them,’ the agency stated.
