Bloke so tired of potholes on his street he fills them in with Pot Noodles

A bloke who’s had his noodle done in by massive potholes in local roads has taken matters into his own hands.

Mark Morell has decided that when it comes to the council revenge is a dish best served hot and filled pesky asphalt craters in with Pot Noodles.

Also known as Mr Pothole, Mark has used the stunt as a potted protest to express his displeasure.

Mark is performing the defiant act in tandem with the famous instant noodle firm in a bid to get authorities to buck up their act and fill in the holes.

Mark said: “Since nothing fills a hole like a Pot Noodle, who better to team up with to highlight the ridiculous state of the UK’s roads?”

This isn’t his first trick though – In the past, he has given potholes cake on their birthdays and even floated rubber duckies on them when they’ve filled with water.

He was sick of his hometown Brackley getting blasted with the pesky pits and has been flying the flag to smooth roads ever since.

He said: “Potholes drive road users potty and me more than most.

“The pothole crisis across the UK is an increasingly serious issue and something I have been campaigning on for more than 10 years.

“During this period I have had to use my noodle with stunts to highlight just how bad potholes are, from floating plastic ducks in water-filled potholes, birthday cakes, fishing rods and model submarines.”

Survey data gathered in recent months reckons that the total sum of cash needed to fix the UK’s pothole problem is roughly £14billion – in the government’s Spring Budget for 2013, £200million was announced to tackle the problem.
