A BRIT dad was horrifically shot dead while celebrating his son's wedding in Pakistan.
Sajid Sharif, 50, was reportedly gunned down at his family home in Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi, while attending the nuptials.
An investigation has been launched by police after the day of marriage was marred by murder.
The father-of-four was tragically killed on January 5 after he was fatally shot.
The death of the Birmingham businessman, known for his numerous shops around the city, has sent "shockwaves" through both the UK and Pakistan.
Sajid's loved ones say they have been left "devastated and destroyed" in wake of the slaying.

More than 1,500 people paid their respects at his funeral in Gujar Khan, where he was a former political figure.
Two men are being held in custody in connection with the shock killing, Birmingham Live reports.
Cops are continuing to investigate the shooting of the respected businessman in cold blood.
Sajid is said to have travelled to Pakistan just days earlier to enjoy his son's wedding.

A grieving family member paid tribute to the "lovely" dad, saying he "touched millions of hearts".
"He was an honest, open person always willing to help those in need," they said.
"He worked ever so hard in the last 10 years to develop a successful operating business in the UK and Pakistan.
"He always looked at opportunities to excel further.
"His loss has caused a shockwave to multiple people in the UK and abroad and has come as a major shock.
"The family are ever so devastated, destroyed as he was the core of all of the families here in the UK and abroad. We will deeply miss him and know no one can ever replace him."
