British widower, 67, ‘is found dead by the side of a road with a head injury in Chile’

A British widower has been found dead at the roadside of coastal town, Niebla in Chile, it has been reported.

Investigations have allegedly commenced following the discovery of a 67-year-old man at the side of the T-354 road near Vladivia. 

On Sunday, the local police station received reports from a 74-year-old local that the man had gone for a walk at around midday. 

While officers confirmed he was of English nationality, it was also claimed that he had a Chilean ID card and visited the nation often, according to The Sun.

The man was reportedly found with a head injury, but it is not yet clear what caused his death.
