Denver weather: Warm day ahead with mostly clear skies
Denverites are in for a warm day as a mostly sunny sky clears up most chances of showers and storms.
In the mountains, rain chances will be limited to mainly light showers compared to thunderstorms from the past few days, and Denver’s high temperature of 88 degrees keeps rain chances below 5% all day.
Whatever showers do form should fade quickly after sunset, with some remaining clouds drifting east onto the plains
in the evening.
And with the return to higher temperatures comes another Ozone Action Day Alert in the Front Range urban corridor.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment says ozone concentrations are expected to reach the Moderate to Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range on Tuesday.
Active children and adults, and people with lung disease such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion from noon until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
