Denver weather: Wednesday sees 92-degree high with possible afternoon storms
Another hot day is in store for Denver Wednesday, but afternoon storms could possibly bring some relief.
Denver’s high temperature Wednesday is 92 degrees, but the low is 59 degrees.
Denver has a 20% chance of storms between 1 and 8 p.m., as storms are expected in the eastern plains and could start developing in scattered areas further west in the Front Range and mountains.
Light to moderate rain can be expected in the scattered storms, and wind gusts could reach 40 mph.
Air quality improved from Tuesday and is not expected to reach the unhealthy for sensitive groups level Wednesday.
After Wednesday, storm chances leave the forecast through Labor Day Weekend, and temperatures will continue to hit the low 90s.
