‘Drunk’ Miss Scotland sparks outrage after getting ‘kicked out of event’
A newly crowned Miss Scotland has been hit with calls to have her pageant title stripped off after she allegedly got kicked out of a rugby event.
Lucy Sophia Thomson, 24, attended the Edinburgh City 7s rugby match on Saturday (June 17).
In a video shared to Daily Record, the Fife beauty, who is seen dressed in white two-piece co-ord, appears to be sitting on the lawn outside a white tent.

Two men in high-vis jacket grab her arms to remove her from the lawn.
Thomson was allegedly drunk at the time, the Daily Record also reported.
She can be seen tussling with them and resists to leave the place.
In the meantime, a woman approaches them and appears to ask the staff to stop pulling her.
According to the report, allegations were also made about a worker being assaulted and racially abused at the event.
The incident left people calling Miss Scotland organisers to strip off Thomson's pageant title.
Miss Scotland organisers have recently announced the opening of entries for the 2023 competition on Sunday.
One fan posted on the organiser's Facebook page, saying: "Miss Scotland you're going to need to make a decision on the future of the current title holder and release a statement as soon as possible.
"The longer you sit on it, the more you're looking like you're condoning this kind of behaviour.
"Even a statement to say you're investigating and will update further soon or you're going to end up losing the licence as Miss World won't be happy about this."
Another added: "Remove her crown and title or Miss Scotland isn't going to mean s*** anymore."
"What a shame that Miss Scotland feels that their priority is to delete comments from their recent posts and making their Instagram private instead of addressing the allegations against their current titleholder."
Police Scotland revealed that an incident had taken place, saying: "Around 9pm on Saturday, 17 June, 2023, we received a report of a disturbance and a hate crime at Peffermill Road in Edinburgh. Enquiries are ongoing."
The Scottish Fashion Association, which was founded by Thomson, confirmed they were aware of an incident on June 17.
They added: "We are treating this matter exceptionally seriously, and will provide an update in due course."
