THE Glastonbury ticket site is said to be chaos today, with music fans moaning and claiming it's down.

The massive five-day festival is set to take place in June next year, and tickets went on sale at 9am today.

But, the site has today been chaos according to music lovers, as thousands of hopeful concertgoers fight for tickets for the sought-after gig.

Less than 20 minutes after tickets went on sale Glastonbury Festival posted on Twitter: "Tickets are selling, but we are seeing incredible demand.

"Please keep trying – but please stick to one device."

The Tweet came after others posted photos of their attempts to get a ticket – with multiple devices sitting on the Glastonbury website.

One woman posted: "2 laptops,2 mobile phones ,1 tablet ,various peeps on line waiting for 9am & #GlastonburyTickets to go on sale!"

Others took to Twitter to share the "stress" of trying to get tickets – and asking what the secret to scoring one is.

About 25 minutes after tickets went on sale, the Glastonbury Festival retweeted that more than half the tickets had been sold.

It was yesterday reported that rock and roll legends Guns n' Roses are in talks to headline the gig.

It has also been rumored that pop superstar Rihanna has been speaking to Glastonbury organisers.
