An Arizona man heroically rescued two young girls from the back of a car that was engulfed in flames just moments after it caught fire.
Sam Heiler, 30, had been driving to a Memorial Weekend getaway on Thursday evening with his wife Melissa in Navajo County, Arizona.
The two had been on a remote stretch of highway when the car in front of them, carrying a family of four, caught fire.
Speaking to Fox News, Heiler said the parents of the two girls go out of their front seats and shut their doors, which instantly locked their two girls in the backseat.
He said: ‘The parents were freaking out, screaming and punching the windows with their bare hands, both the back windows in front of the babies’
