Movie producer Oren Aviv’s $6.49 million mansion has been burned to the ground after a fire erupted early Friday morning.
Aviv, 61, was not at home when the fire broke out at his nearly three-acre property located at 144 Edge of Woods Road at 12.30am. His wife Katie Locke Aviv and three daughters were also away.
Officials said Aviv’s home, which appeared to be under construction, took four hours to burn out and that the structure was completely destroyed, according to NBC. The cause of the fire is unknown.
The movie producer is known for his work in Disney’s ‘National Treasure’ films starring Nicolas Cage that aired in 2004 and 2007.

Aviv’s nine bedroom and nine bath million-dollar home is located in one of New York’s most expensive neighborhoods.
Photos of the fire showed firefighters on the scene as the home was nearly burned all the way to the ground.
Five fire departments were called to assist at the scene, including Hampton Bays, East Quogue, North Sea, Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor, according to the news outlet.
The property was up for sale until Aviv snapped it up in June.

The some 2.7-acre chic estate featured a wood entry gate leading up to the driveway and a resort pool in the middle of a private backyard.
A detached two car garage with a guest house was also featured on the property.
Realtors on Zillow described the property as having ‘ample first and second floor terraces, overgrown by wisteria and overlooking the fabulous landscaped grounds and spectacular pool.’
It was also described as an ‘ideal getaway.’
The extravagant home was built in the 1920s but has since been renovated to fit the latest design appeals.
