What qualifications do you need to become a plumber?
In order to take the necessary steps to become a plumber, you will first need to earn some specific qualifications during your time in education.

- 2 or more GCSEs at grades 9 to 3 (A* to D), or equivalent, for a level 2 course
- 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, for a level 3 course
- 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and maths for a T level
- Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- T Level in Building Services Engineering for Construction
You will also need to possess all the relevant skills required for the job.
