Hundreds of diners are evacuated from swanky Mayfair restaurant popular with Love Island stars after huge fire breaks out in the basement

Hundreds of people were evacuated after a fire broke out at MNKY HSE Latin American restaurant on Dover Street in Mayfair, London.
The restaurant is popular with the Love Island crowd, with the celebs dining there in August after a reunion episode.
The London Fire Brigade confirmed the incident and that the fire has now been extinguished.
A spokesperson from the fire service said they were called at 21:40.

They said the incident was restricted to the basement of the high rise building.
Five fire engines and at least 25 firefighters turned up to the scene.
The blaze had been extinguished before the fire service arrived.
Around 300 people were in the restaurant and they were evacuated by the security staff.
Two people were treated at the scene by London Ambulance.
They were the only people who required medical attention.
All persons were accounted for and London Fire Brigade believes that there were no serious injuries.
Thermal imaging was used by the fire service to check that everything was under control.
