I’m a mum-of-seven & my face is covered in tattoos – parlours have BANNED me… they say I've gone too far | The Sun
A MUM-OF-SEVEN whose face is covered in tattoos says parlours have banned her because she has "gone too far".
Melissa Sloan, 46, from Wales, gets inked three times a week and carries a tattoo gun around at all times in case inspiration strikes.
But the mum says her DIY "prison style" tattoos, including three layers of ink on her face and a Kray Twins homage on her calf, have got her banned from professional parlours.
She told the Star: "Tattoo shops shut the door on me – tattooists won't let me in.
"They won't do it because I'm beyond help, because I've gone too far."
Melissa's DIY tattoos include a unicorn on the back of her head, a "RIP Mum" design on her hand, and a number of crucifixes and Playboy Bunnies across her body, and an England flag on her face which will soon be joined by a "moustache".
