A CAFE that charges customers £6.25 for a cup of tea has been slammed by customers amid the cost of living crisis.
The Prada pop-up cafe is in the world-famous Harrods department store, but shoppers are outraged by the prices.
Aside from the costly cuppa, the upmarket cafe also charges £13 for yoghurt and granola or £8 for bread and jam for breakfast.
At lunchtime, the saffron and parmesan risotto will set diners back an eye-watering £38.
And if you are wanting to get one of your five a day, a side order of tenderstem broccoli is a whopping £8.50.
The swanky cafe is also charging up to £400 for a bottle of champagne and £230 for wine.

Understandably some shoppers were shocked at the prices as many Brits are struggling with their weekly shopping bills and heating costs due to high inflation.
Shirley Jameson fumed: “Do you have to remortgage to eat there I wonder?”

Amir Tehranchian joked: “I’ll have the Prada avocado toast.”
Tricia Monica mocked the decor with matching walls, tables, chairs and plates all the same colour.
She said: “Too green.”
One joked: “Do you have Prada toilets?”
Another said: “No more availability for July?
“How is it possible?”
Yet not everyone shared the same outrage, as Dani Hawkins said: “Cannot wait to go.
“All booked in.”
On the indulgent menu at Prada Caffè, guests can add ‘Oscietra caviar’ to their dish for £22.
For those wanting some lunchtime nibbles a bread basket or olives cost £5.
But for guests wanting something a bit more substantial, they are doing to have to dig a little deeper into their wallets.
Starters include ‘Crab and dill toasted brioche’ for £29.50 or ‘Citrus marinated sockeye salmon’ for £26.
Mains on offer at £38 include the ‘Saffron and parmesan risotto’ or ‘Cannelloni ricotta and spinach’ for £36.
An ‘Oven roasted beef fillet’ is £45.
Even those popping in for a drink should not expect to get off lightly, with a bottle of Aqua Panna water costing £6.95.
A basic flat white coffee is £6.50 and an ‘Earl Grey tea’ is £6.25.
Cocktails like an espresso martini are £18 or from its signature range a Tuscan blossom is £19.
Even non-alcoholic ones like the bosco estivo are £14.
The Harrods website reads: “Welcome to the Prada Caffè at Harrods.
“This space adds a new dimension to the Prada brand, born from a desire to offer customers yet another engaging and stimulating experience."
It goes on to say that everything in the cafe "seeks to reflect Prada’s tastes and passions and the spirit of curiosity that has always shaped the way it views the world".
Describing the green decor it says that it is an "iconic colour for the brand."
It adds: “Prada has chosen a range of exclusive materials for the space" and highlights the "pale blue porcelain inspired by ancient Celadon pottery" that is made in Japan.
It describes the cafe as, “A blend of modernity and history, tradition and innovation that is quintessentially Prada, and which we hope will ensure your visit is both unique and memorable.”

Harrods sells Prada products like the £1,050 Ostrich Leather Chain Card Holder or the £294 Rectangular Sunglasses.
