McDonald's will AXE three menu items next week
McDonald’s will AXE three menu items next week – is YOUR favourite on list?
McDonald’s is set to axe three items from its menu next week.
The removal of items will come into effect on August 1, but which items will disappear from the menu?
Leaving the fast-food restaurants is the Double Big Mac burger, which can be served with or without bacon.
Also removed from the menu is the Biscoff McFlurry and the Spicy Sriracha Wrap.
The three items were on the menu for only one month as part of a limited selection.
Last month the chain introduced a Saver menu as well as some new additions to the standard menu.
The removal of some of McDonald’s favourite items will come into effect on August 1
Leaving the menu on August 1 is the Double Big Mac burger, which can be served with or without bacon
Also removed from the menu is the much-loved Biscoff McFlurry
And the final item to be removed from the menu is the Spicy Sriracha Wrap
A new item on the menu was the Caesar Bacon & Chicken Big Flavour Wrap.
Inspired by the all-time classic salad, it features crispy breaded chicken breast strips with Caesar mayonnaise, crispy onions, bacon and lettuce in a classic soft tortilla wrap and will cost customers £5.19.
If you’re not a fan of breaded chicken then you can also have the wrap with grilled chicken instead.
However, the inclusion of this new wrap did mean the axing from menus of the much-loved Garlic Wrap.
Another item that was introduced this summer was the mozzarella bites, which come with a tangy tomato dip.
Just like their bigger brother mozzarella dippers in terms of taste, these little guys come in ‘bite’ form, making them the perfect snack. You’ll be able to grab these for £2.29 for one portion or £6.29 as a share box.
Another sweet treat added to the menu was the double chocolate pie. Featuring a chocolate crust, it also comes filled with chocolate sauce – heaven in a pie.
The Caesar Bacon & Chicken Big Flavour Wrap, Mozzarella Bites and Double Chocolate Pie will be around for a little longer until September 5.
