A SOZZLED driver was found slumped in her car in the middle of the road after a white wine binge when she split with her boyfriend.
Aisling Slater was more than three times the legal limit after a drunken night chatting to a pal about her love life.
A security guard found the 29-year-old slumped behind the wheel in her Mini Cooper clearly intoxicated.
Slater was slurring her words and was breathalysed at the side of the road in Wigan.
She has now been sentenced to a 12 month community order with 60 hours unpaid work after admitting drink-driving.
Slater will also have to pay costs of £85 and a £114 statutory surcharge.

Wigan Magistrates' Court was told the mental health worker had been signed off her job after splitting with her boyfriend.
Her lawyer Louise Barrow said: "She started drinking to try to make her feel better rather than seek professional medical help.
"On the night of the incident, she went round a friend's house who was trying to make her feel better.
"Things escalated when they both started drinking wine."

JPs heard Slater stopped in the middle of the road on March 17 where she was found by the security guard.
Tests showed she had 115mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, with the legal limit being 35mg.
Paul Sumner, prosecuting, said: "She was arrested and taken to a police station.
"She was fully compliant in interview and was released the following day."
The court was told Slater has stopped drinking since the incident and is seeking professional help.
