Miracle Corgi shot between the eyes survived attack and on road to recovery
A dog who was shot in the head is on the road to recovery after miraculously surviving a gunshot, with a bullet hitting the pooch between the eyes.
Arthur, a Corgi who escaped a breeding farm and went missing in the United States, is said to be doing well after receiving treatment.
A post to Instagram said that the recovering pup was "lucky to be alive" after his encounter, which saw the dog shot right between the eyes causing a horrific injury.

The Instagram post, from the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA), showed the extent of the damage caused to poor Arthur.
PSPCA wrote: "Arthur is lucky to be alive. And that is not an understatement. Arthur had been shot at an angle that miraculously missed his brain.
"The bullet left a hole in Arthur's head & caused damage to his airway passages and mouth. He was covered in fleas, had ear infections and was anaemic."
A rocky road to recovery followed for Arthur, with the organisation saying that the wound on the dog's head was very large and covered in debris.
The poor pup was found stuck under a fence, with property owners thinking the wound to the head had been from the fence.

As it turned out, Arthur had been shot in the head and left for dead before PSPCA officials intervened and saved his life.
A statement from PSPCA read: "He was in too much pain for a full exam, so he was started on pain medication & antibiotics.
"Arthur had been shot at an angle that miraculously missed his brain. The bullet left a hole in Arthur's head & caused damage to his airway passages and mouth. He was covered in fleas, had ear infections and was anaemic."
Thankfully he survived, with the PSPCA reporting that Arthur is likely to make a full recovery and that his breathing has improved, NDTV reported.
