More teens charged following fatal Sunshine stabbing

Two more teenagers have been charged after the stabbing death of a schoolboy in Sunshine last month.
Pasawm Lyhym, 16, was stabbed to death outside Sunshine train station just after school ended on May 18.

An 18-year-old Burnside Heights man has been charged with intentionally cause injury, conduct endangering serious injury, affray and possess prohibited weapon. He faced Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday and has been bailed.
A 17-year-old has been charged with conduct endangering serious injury, affray and possess prohibited weapon. He faced a children’s’ court on Monday and was bailed.
Last week a 17-year-old boy faced court charged with Lyhym’s murder. He was remanded in custody and did not apply for bail.
Two other teenage boys were also injured in the stabbing incident, which led to a high school in the western suburbs hiring security staff because of fears of reprisal attacks on students.
All accused will return to court at a later date.
