A WOMAN was left horrified to return from her holiday to find her neighbour had dumped DIRT on her lawn – killing her grass.
She confronted the resident to ask for an explanation but was horrified when next door blamed HER for the soil spat.
She explained she had enjoyed a friendly relationship with her neighbours since moving into a new home with her husband last year.
The couples even exchanged small gifts at Christmas, solidifying their camaraderie on the street in New South Wales, Australia.
But when the woman and her husband went away for five weeks, they were stunned to return home to find a pile of muck on their property.
She explained to news.com.au: "We just got back from five weeks overseas to find they had dumped bucket-loads of dirt, rocks and rubbish over our lawn while we were gone, which took hours to clean up and has likely killed the grass."

The couple next door admitted they had shovelled the dirt onto their side.
But the pair claimed they did it because some soil from the woman's back garden had spilled into theirs underneath the fence.
Despite the civil discussion, the resident was left furious that her neighbours "didn't apologise" and "seemed to blame us entirely".
She explained cleaning up the mess had cost her and her husband time and money to fix.

The Aussie has been left fearing what next-door "might do next" and pleaded for advice on how to rectify the situation – and how to protect their property.
Solicitors and agony aunts Alison and Jillian Barrett offered the frustrated homeowner some suggestions for her dirt dilemma.
They applauded the woman for approaching her neighbours while explaining if the dirt had in fact spilled over into the adjacent home, the residents may have been entitled to return it.
The siblings advised the woman to politely tell the residents it would be more considerate to place the pile in another spot that could be easily cleaned and wouldn't damage the grass.
Alison and Jillian added: "If all the soil and rocks can’t possibly have come exclusively from your garden, then your neighbour may have caused a nuisance for you.
"If your lawn has died then you may be able to be reimbursed for replacing that small section.
"Don’t engage in any payback responses, like dumping the soil and rocks back onto their property, as this is likely to fuel the dispute."
