NICOLA Bulley's friend has revealed her hell at deciding whether to tell her daughters their mum was missing.
Nadia Fell looked after Nicola's youngest daughter on the Sunday after she vanished on January 27.
She told how the heartbreaking realisation dawned on her that the six-year-old would soon have to learn the mum-of-two was missing.
Nadia told the Mail on Sunday: "She didn’t know what was going on at that point, everyone was like, 'Just let’s not tell her'.
"Everyone was holding on to a little bit of hope. I was sitting there thinking, 'Your world is soon going to fall apart' and it was just horrible."
Nicola was last seen in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire, at around 9.15am on January 27.

Lancashire Police have been slammed for their handling of the investigation.
In a press conference on Wednesday, officers revealed Nicola was classed as high risk due to "specific vulnerabilities".
They later said Nicola had been struggling with alcohol issues and the menopause and had stopped taking HRT medication.
Police also confirmed officers had attended her family home just weeks before her disappearance over a report of a concern for welfare.

Nadia said she has never seen any "red flags" and called Nicola a "normal mum".
She added: "We all have ups and downs and being a mum is hard. Every day is a lesson.
"The menopause can be really tough."
Nicola has been described as white, 5ft 3ins tall with light-brown shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen wearing an ankle-length black quilted gilet jacket with a black Engelbert Strauss waist-length coat underneath and black tight-fitting jeans.
She had long green walking socks tucked into her jeans, ankle-length green Next wellies, a necklace and a pale blue Fitbit on.
Nicola has an Essex accent and links to the Thornton-Cleveleys area near Blackpool.
Anybody with information about where she might be is asked to call 101, quoting log 473 of January 27, or ring 999 for immediate sightings.
