Palace ‘worried’ about what Meghan Markle will share in Spotify podcast as she ‘shows battle scars’, Omid Scobie says | The Sun
BUCKINGHAM Palace is worried about what Meghan Markle will share in her new Spotify series, Omid Scobie says.
The long-awaited first episode in Meghan's Archewell podcast dropped yesterday after she and Prince Harry signed a rumoured £18m deal with Spotify following their exit from the Firm.
In the first episode, Meghan was joined by tennis legend Serena Williams to discuss what it means to be an "ambitious" woman.
Listeners heard the Duchess of Sussex open up about personal experiences, how her ambitious streak has been challenged and relived the horror moment she was told a fire broke out in son Archie's nursery while she was on tour in South Africa.
But despite the conversation touching on a broad range of issues and ideas, it is understood the Palace is nervously awaiting what could come next.
In his latest column for Yahoo as royal executive editor, Omid Scobie hinted he had it on good accord aides are keeping an ear out.

Omid wrote: "I’m told Buckingham Palace aides were most definitely not keeping calm, nor carrying on after the show’s premiere on Tuesday, worried about what else might be shared over the next 12 weeks."
He said one aide has since attempted to cast doubt on Meghan's version of events while another has claimed it's "unfair" of the mum-of-two to speak when the Royal Household cannot respond.
But he argued "this is the reality the royal institution helped create".
He said: "Uncensored and unbothered, Meghan, like Harry, has managed to create a healthier and happier existence since being shown the door after the couple’s half in, half out proposal was rejected.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment when approached by The Sun Online.
During the first episode, the Duchess reveals how her life changed when she joined the Firm – claiming she had "felt the negativity" of being labelled "ambitious".
In the episode, the Meghan says: "So, I don’t remember ever personally feeling the negative connotation behind the word ambitious until I started dating my now husband.
"And um, apparently ambition is, uh… a terrible, terrible thing, for a woman that is – according to some.
"So, since I’ve felt the negativity behind it, it’s really hard to un-feel it.
"I can’t unsee it, either, in the millions of girls and women who make themselves smaller – so much smaller – on a regular basis."
She also appealed to fans to share her #dontbelievethetype motto after releasing her long-awaited podcast – but less than 60 people have posted it permanently on Instagram.
Meghan's guests will include Mindy Kaling, Ziwe Fumudoh and Margaret Cho.
The first podcast comes almost two years after Harry and Meghan signed an £18million podcast project with audio giant Spotify.
