Police ‘concerned for the safety’ of mother, 17, and her seven-month-old baby who were last seen a week ago

Police are ‘very concerned for the safety’ of a missing mother and her seven-month-old son who were last seen a week ago.
Nottinghamshire Police have renewed an appeal for information about 17-year-old Layla and her infant son Noah who have been missing since June 5.
The pair were last seen in the Top Valley area of Nottingham at 11pm last Monday.
Layla, who is described as having straight black hair and being around 5 foot 4 inches tall, was last seen wearing black crocs and a pink full-length dressing gown.
Noah is described as having auburn hair and being in a pushchair.

Police said in a statement: ‘We are very concerned for their safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen them.’
Layla is believed to have links to both the Birmingham and Derby areas, alongside links to Nottingham.
Top Valley is a largely residential area in the north of Nottingham that lies approximately 4 miles from the city centre.
‘If you have seen Layla and Noah or have any information on where they are, please call us on 101 quoting incident 864 of 5th June 2023,’ Nottinghamshire Police said.
Derbyshire Constabulary shared a similar statement calling for information from members of the public.
‘Can you help officers at Nottinghamshire Police as they appeal to find Layla and Noah?’ the police force said.
