Police have launched an urgent hunt to find a missing woman who is feared to be carrying a sword.
The Metropolitan Police has issued an appeal to the public in a bid to track down Sana, 37, who went missing from her home in Penge, south-east London, at around 4.45pm this afternoon.
Officers concerned for her welfare believe that she may be travelling from her home to west London.
Bromley Police released a picture of Sara – who has blonde hair and was said to be wearing green camouflage clothing when she went missing.
Members of the public have been warned not to approach Sana but to alert emergency services if they see her.
A spokesman for the Met said: ‘Police are appealing for help to trace Sana, 37, who is missing from Penge.
‘Sana left her address at around 16:45hrs today and may be in possession of a sword.
‘She was last seen wearing green camouflage clothing and carrying a large camouflage rucksack.
‘Officer have concern for Sana’s welfare and urgently need to trace her.
‘If seen, do not approach Sana but dial 999 immediately.’
Posting on social media, they added: ‘She may be travelling to west London.’
