Police are investigating the ‘unexplained’ death of a newborn baby at home, it has today been reported.
Wiltshire Police officers were called to the address in Swindon after receiving reports of the death in the early hours of yesterday morning, August 1.
They stayed at the address in Holbein Close, Grange Park, which is to the west of Swindon, for over 30 hours, according to The Sun.
Ambulance crews attended but paramedics told the police that the baby had died.

Police are investigating the cause of the baby’s death and it is being treated as ‘unexplained’.
Enquiries continue and a crime scene remains in place.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police told the Sun: ‘We were called by the ambulance service to a report of a death of a newborn baby at an address in Grange Park in the early hours of Monday morning.
‘Enquiries are currently ongoing and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.’
