Sex-mad teacher who slept with boy, 15, working at construction site on release

The ex-teacher who had sex with a pupil, 15, in a field is now working at a construction site.

Mum-of-three Kandice Barber, 37, was jailed for six years and two months in 2021 after her romp with the underage boy was revealed.

According to The Sun, she is now working as a gate guard at a council site in west London, donning a hard hat and high-vis while on temporary prison release.

Sources told the publication Barber is loving working on the construction site and has been there since May.

One said: "Kandice turned up about two months ago, which was a complete shock because she should have still been behind bars.

"She’s attractive looking, so she’s already proving a hit with the lads, who have no idea about her background."

Employer Wates Construction reportedly confirmed she is on temporary release.

The Ministry of Justice said prisoners are assessed before being allowed out on temporary release. It added: "They must also abide by strict rules and face extra time behind bars if they don’t comply."

Barber worked at Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire and flirted with the underage pupil with messages and topless snaps.

Courts heard how she later drove him to a field to have sex in 2018. She was reported after a nude photo she sent him was circulated widely, reaching the head teacher.

She was found guilty of one count of causing or inciting a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity.

At another trial, Barber was convicted of sending nude photos to him as well as a video where she masturbated with a sex toy.

An ex-lover claimed she would demand sex five times a day, often in unusual places.

He recalled: "She liked doing it outside, sometimes in the car, the garden or in woods. We'd be driving somewhere, and she'd say, 'pull over, I'm feeling horny'.

"It just got too much for me. Everyone has got their personal needs and that sort of stuff got her excited but by the end of it I couldn't be bothered, I'd just had enough. It was too excessive."
