Sexy judge suspended for doing hearing in undies suffers ‘fainting and tremors’

The raunchy judge who was suspended for conducting a hearing in her underwear has opened up about suffering from anxiety and uncontrolled fainting.

Vivian Polania, from Colombia, was placed on unpaid leave after she appeared on a video link for a hearing while half-naked and smoking a cigarette back in November last year.

Last month she posted several snaps to Instagram in which she could be seen sporting her official robes, announcing she was finally ready to resume her duties.

Before that Polania, who shares racy snaps online, was investigated by the Judgeship Superior Council Section Disciplinary Board after comments she made about receiving discounts from clothing brands due to her social media following.

She was cleared in that instance also.

She was also in the news after receiving death threats from an armed criminal gang in Colombia.

La Opinion reported that Polania was threatened because she had sent several members of the gang to prison in cases she had presided over.

Taking to Twitter yesterday (Monday, April 10) Polania opened up about her mental health struggles and the physical impact those struggles have had on her body.

Unsurprisingly given the threats against her life and controversies she has been embroiled in, she revealed she suffered "anxiety attacks".

She wrote: "As a consequence of my anxiety attacks, I have vomited, cried for hours, I have fainted, I have bathed in the early hours of the morning to stop the tremors in my body, I lose my voice… who was by my side?

"ME, I understood that I must be stronger and here I am standing!"

Having previously been investigated her for her personal choices, the judicial branch stood firmly behind Polania after she was threatened.

"We express our total solidarity in the face of this type of reprehensible acts that undermine judicial autonomy," they said in a statement.

Police also took "urgent measures" to guarantee Polania's personal safety last year.
