BRITS look set to face the hottest day of the year TODAY according to to forecasts as doctors have warned people to "stay out of the sun".
The UK Health Security Agency issued a “heat-health” alert running from Monday until Friday, particularly for the south and east of England.
One children’s hospital has issues advice to wear sun cream and light-coloured clothing and stay in the shade.
London is expected to be hotter than Ibiza today the Met Office have confirmed as Brits look set to scorch in 32C heat.
The heatwave will continue into the week, with temperatures set to soar above 30C, potentially seeing some of the warmest temperatures of the year.
The heat has seen Brits pour onto beaches and parks in their numbers as they embrace the soaring heat.
But parents have been warned to keep children safe in the scorching sun and stop them undertaking "vigorous physical activity."

Making a splash!
Londoners took to wild water swimming yesterday to cool off in the scorching heat.
Sometimes when the sun is blazing, a deep pool of water never looked so inviting.
As temperatures boarder on 27C in some parts of London on Friday, Brits flocked to Highgate for some greenery.
Some took to diving into the pools of natural water at Hampstead Heath, while others opted to sunbathe and top up their tans.

Brits who weren’t at work yesterday, relaxed on the scorching sand today.
Holidaymakers bagged a space on the sand for a lovely beach day.

Last night was warm with clear skies for the majority of the British Isles.
South east of England was dry with plenty of clear skies, a great opportunity to do some star gazing.
