THE disappearance of mother-of-two Nicola Bulley has shattered the lives of all involved.
Her partner Paul Ansell has said he would "never lose hope" of finding missing Nicola, and is "trying to be strong" for their two daughters.
Who is Paul Ansell?
Paul Ansell is the long-term partner of missing Nicola Bulley.
The pair have been together for twelve years.
Both Bulley and Ansell share a home in Inskip, Lancashire.
Their family unit is completed by two daughters.

What has Paul Ansell said?
As searches for his partner continued, Mr Ansell gave an emotional account of what the family are going through:
"It is just perpetual hell. It is just utter disbelief. We are living through this but it doesn't feel real.
"We need to find her. She’s got two little girls that need their mummy home."

He spoke about how the pair would take it in turns to take the girls to school, on this occasion, Ms Bulley had dropped them off on the day in question.
Her parents revealed how their two granddaughters had broken down when her partner had to tell them "mummy's lost".
Mr Ansell told the press: "I can't believe that we're here a week on and as yet, it seems like we're not further on.
"It just seems absolutely impossible, like a dream.
"I just can't get my head around it.
"We’re never going to lose hope, but it is as though she has vanished into thin air. It’s just insane.”
When did Nicola Bulley go missing?
January 27, 2023, Nicola Bulley took her dog for a walk after dropping her two daughters at school.
The mother-of-two was last seen walking along a river path with her spaniel dog.
Her phone and the dog's lead were discovered on a bench near a river path in St Michael's on Wyre, Lancashire.
Despite an extensive police search, supported by members of the community, they have not managed to uncover what happened to Ms Bulley.
Initially, police had thought that she had fallen into the river but dredging of the area has not revealed anything to back up that hypothesis.
