Woman, 44, ‘stabbed to death’ in horror attack in Manchester | The Sun

A WOMAN has been stabbed to death at a home in Manchester.

Emergency services rushed to Edge Lane, Droylsden, just after 12.03pm today.

They discovered a 44-year-old woman had been stabbed and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness told Manchester Evening News: "It's terrible. You can't comprehend it. So sad.

"There was blood everywhere. I saw someone get taken away in the air ambulance."

A police spokesperson said: "Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a stabbing at a property in Edge Lane, Droylsden at around 12.03pm today (Friday 2 June 2023).

"Officers attended the scene and a 44-year-old woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at 12.46pm.

"No arrests have been made at present.

"A scene is still in place with enquiries continuing."
