Paris Jackson Went Back to Basics With a Classic 2000s French Manicure

Paris Jackson is slowly becoming the classic french manicure’s biggest fan. The singer and model shared a snap to her Instagram Story on Sept. 22 showing off her glam for Milan Fashion Week, followed by a close-up shot of her nails and assorted gold and bronze rings.

On the tips of Jackson’s heavily tattooed fingers was a 2000s-inspired french manicure featuring a pink base with a thin white line on the edge — though not so thin that it’d count as a “baby french.” The look is in keeping with the latest nail-art trends, however, the uberpopular versions as of late are new iterations of design, like the double french manicure or the chrome french. Jackson’s take feels very old school thanks to the short length and rounded shape.

This isn’t the first time Jackson has opted for a classic french manicure for a big event. At the 75th annual Tony Awards on June 12, she wore a similar look on squoval-shaped nails while supporting “MJ: The Musical” with her brother, Prince Jackson. The traditional nail look is a reminder that sometimes going back to basics is best. Take a look at Jackson’s classic french manicures ahead.
