The celebrity couple told fans how their three-year-old had been rushed to hospital this week as she battled a very high temperature.

Ella was initially sent home, but they made the decision to return to A&E as she remained very unwell.

James, 45, and Ola, 41, have now given their followers a major update in their child's health battle.

Taking to his Instagram Story today with a video from hospital, James explained she had been diagnosed with pneumonia.

He said, "We found out later last night that Ella actually had or has got pneumonia, which is what they're currently treating along with the tonsillitis.

"It's been a long, long five days of no sleep, so I'm really looking forward to hopefully getting a really good night's sleep tonight.

"And you can see that she's becoming this… She's going to be a nightmare, isn't she? She's going to have so much energy and mummy and daddy are going to be knackered."

He then made a jibe at Ola, who is jetting off tomorrow to visit her parents in Poland, adding, "So it's just going to be me. I'm going to be knackered."

James praised Ella for being a "warrior" while having her blood taken and thanked fans for being supportive.

The ballroom pro previously shared some pictures of Ella in her hospital bed, explaining what they had been going through.

He wrote: “My little warrior!! We are still at Pembury Hospital but she has finally turned a corner after 5 days and long nights of fighting an extremely high temperature.

“It started Monday but on Wednesday night things got pretty bad and temperature was 40+ so took her to A and E at roughly midnight where a doctor gave her a quick look over and said it was a viral infection and told us to continue with Calpol/Ibrofen and take her home and it would take its course.

“I did try to say it seems more like a chest infection than a viral infection but I’m not the expert. He also told us that it wasn’t because he had listened to her chest.”

But things didn’t get any better at home, James continued: “After 2 more terrible nights of her temperature staying around 39 – 40 and her throwing up several times in her sleep.

“And even though we felt we were maybe wasting the doctors and nurses time and would look like overprotective parents – we decided to take her back to A and E.”

He added that the second experience at hospital was completely different – she was rushed to have an X-ray and told she had chest infection and tonsillitis.

James added:  "They have now had to put her on an IV for the antibiotics because she’s been ill for so long and now very ill.

“Anyway, the moral of the story is – go with your gut parents. We knew it was something more serious. I’m just angry with myself I didn’t push harder. But to be honest I didn’t want to be a dick to them.

“It’s just a shame sometimes you have to because of some people’s incompetence. Then on the flip side, today we experienced the opposite end of the spectrum by sheer brilliance from a wonderful team of people.”

The pro dancer noted that his comments might not go down well with some people because it is negative about the NHS, but he insisted: "I will do anything for my baby girl."

Loose Women star Kelle Bryan broke down in tears on Monday’s episode as she discussed her health after having chemotheraphy. The 48-year-old has had to undergo chemotherapy infusions every six months after being diagnosed with lupus in 2000 and consequently suffering from a stroke.

Kelle was joined by her co-stars Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards as the ladies discussed chemotherapy and the effect it’s had on them. Sharing her own story, the Eternal star began speaking but became overcome with emotion as she took a moment to compose herself, with Brenda, 54, comforting her.

After taking a second, Kelle cleared her throat as the live audience gave her a round of applause to encourage her. She explained: “It’s about your children because you know as I do that, it means I can have the life that I have with my children.

“So for that eight hours in the chair, I know I can then live a relatively happy, normal life with my children. I can still do the things that I’ve always wanted to do with them and live the life I’ve always wanted to live with them.”

“So for me it’s eight hours versus that, so for me it’s a no-brainer to make that decision and it’s not easy, not by any means is it easy,” she expressed.

The ITV star opened up on World Lupus Day in 2021 about her journey with the autoimmune condition which led to her experiencing a stroke.

Lupus is a condition that affects the immune system and causes the body to attack its own healthy cells, it can cause problems with the skin, joints, kidneys and other organs.

Speaking previously on the show about her condition leading her to having a stroke, the singer said: “I had cerebral lupus…I lost the ability to speak, to read, to write and [my] movement and coordination.

“I’m diagnosed with lupus but the lupus was on my brain, which means I had cerebral lupus, I then had a stroke. I lost three days of my life where I don’t remember anything at all.”

While she joins Big Brother in the hopes to win over the public in a bid to win the series, it seems they won't be the hardest people she's ever had to swoon. Farida, who grew in popularity on TikTok last year, previously explained that she's had some dealings with King Charles.

Speaking to The Sun about her career last year, she said: "I set up my business through The Princes' Trust 22 years ago. I even put henna on King Charles, when he was the Prince of Wales."

The 50-year-old makeup artist, from Wolverhampton, had support in setting up the business through the charity founded in 1976 by King Charles III to help vulnerable young people get their lives back on track. It has often helped entrepreneurs get themselves set up in the business world.

Farida kickstarted her company and later moved onto TikTok to share hair and makeup tips and post transformations from her various clients. She covers all bases from makeovers, henna and mentoring – and she's looking to further her plans if she wins the reality show.

She currently teaches the beauty industry to students to support the development of their own businesses. If she wins, she's hoping to set up even more training courses.

Farida said: "I’d probably invest [the money] in setting up online training courses to teach hair and makeup. I'll need to be smart and invest it properly because, don't forget, I'm a businesswoman."

Elsewhere Farida stated she thinks people could feel intimidated by her "potential" to win. She's adamant that her stint on the TV show will show people that Muslims aren't suppressed.

She said: "A lot of people think that wearing a headscarf might stop you from having opportunities, whereas for me, it's been completely the opposite. I embrace it with confidence and it's actually given me lots of opportunities. I want to let people know that us Muslims, we really aren't suppressed. I'm far from suppressed – I used to be a holiday rep!"

Farida is joining 15 other housemates in the new series of Big Brother as they try to win over the public for a cash prize.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Ahead of the show airing, Harry, 38, shared that he picked his mum as a way to reconnect with her, telling press: "I’m the youngest of three and was a mummy’s boy growing up.

"Then suddenly at 17, I was in this band and just so busy – the dynamic of our relationship shifted a lot.

"I didn’t consider the impact that my leaving had on mum and now having children myself, I can relate to what she went through.

"One of the things I enjoyed most was spending 10 hours on a train with her. We would talk for nine-and-a-half of those hours about life, her childhood. That was the most special thing."

Harry also revealed that both he and his mum had wanted to travel but that life had gotten in the way, as he explained: "I never travelled when I was younger. I travelled with the band, but I never properly did backpacking and I always wanted to.

"I think the same applies for my mum, she always wanted to but started a family when she was 22."

After her jibe, Susanna hit back: “Oi, she’s very happily married to a man who finds her very attractive. What are you talking about?!”

As the episode kicked off, Mary stunned Giles by cutting her sandwich with a pair of scissors, which he said looked like a “dog’s dinner”.

Former health secretary Matt Hancock’s behaviour at meal times came into question by two of his fellow campmates.

Model and television personality Danielle Lloyd detailed how each of the contestants would queue up to serve themselves from the communal serving plate each day, however, she said: “There were times when it came to the food when Matt would help himself to massive portions.”

Given the fact that their food was rationed and the group lived in a basic camp in the middle of the jungle, this did not sit well with some of his fellow celebrities.

Danielle continued: ‘I was fuming!’ But the close quarters that they were living in made it difficult for the other contestants to challenge Matt on his behaviour.

She explained: “Nobody took it up with him. It was hard to do it in that environment.”

Their fellow campmate, comedian Zoe Lyons, agreed that “dinner time was always a little bit tense.”

However, former Liberty X star Michelle Heaton had nothing but positive things to say about living with Matt during the duration of the show.

Matt, Danielle, Zoe, and Michelle joined twelve other celebrity contestants on the fifth series of the celebrity spin-off of the original SAS: Who Dares Wins show.

The other big names among the line-up are singers Gareth Gates and Siva Kaneswaran, reality TV stars James Argent and Amber Turner, and former football player Jermaine Pennant.

Love Island contestants Teddy Soares and Montana Brown, actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter, TV personality Melinda Messenger, former rugby player Gareth Thomas, Paralympic gold medallist Jon-Allan Butterworth and British Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton complete this year’s lineup.

Viewers will need to tune in to see how Matt and his fellow celebrities fare as they are put through their paces during the gruelling challenges.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns to Channel 4 on September 26 at 9.30pm.
