George and Amal met in 2013 via a mutual friend, getting engaged a year later.

They got their marriage license in London on August 7, 2014 and had a wedding ceremony on September 27, 2014 in Venice, Italy.

The couple tied the knot in fall 2014 and welcomed their twins Ella and Alexander in June 2017.

Earlier this month the actor shared with Entertainment Tonight that Alexander and Ella, age five, already speak three languages and are much more intelligent that he is.

When asked if he will mind it if they pursue the arts as he has, the star said: ‘They can do whatever they want. My guess is that they’re a little smarter than me, so, they’ll probably do something – they already speak three languages, so, I’m still working on English.’
