Andrea McLean’s husband makes rare appearance as duo enjoy loved-up date night

Andrea McLean and her husband made a rare joint public appearance together as they attended a glitzy event in London earlier this week.

53 year old Andrea and her husband Nick Feeney stepped out together to attend Disney’s D100 event in central London and put up a loved-up display as they celebrated the joy and magic of the iconic entertainment company.

The couple, who got matching feather tattoos on their wrists earlier this year, were pictured sharing a laugh and joke together as they enjoyed some time relaxing away from their busy schedules.

For the occasion, formerLoose Women star Andrea looked chic as she opted for a button down black midi dress which featured some very trendy fur trimmed sleeves.

To finish off the look, the TV personality wore her hair in her signature loose curls and opted for a nude lip and brown smokey eye.

Businessman Nick meanwhile looked smart as he wore a black suit jacket and a simple white T-shirt underneath.

The husband and wife duo, who got married back in 2017, also wore matching silver Mickey and Minnie mouse ears in celebration of the occasion.

The pair’s recent outing comes afterAndrea stepped back from Loose Women back in 2020 to focus on the business, This Girl Is On Fire, that she runs with Nick.

Following her career change, the broadcaster spoke to OK! earlier this year about howleaving the show was the “bravest” moment of her life and that she is “glad” to have pushed herself to make the decision.

“The bravest thing I ever did was leave my job in my 50s because it’s a lot easier to make a brave move, when you have nothing to lose,” she said.

“With a bold move, potentially you have everything to lose, not just your reputation, but also, financially. I’m so glad I did it.”

However, while Andrea admits that she’s happier now, she also revealed that she sometimes feels lost in pursuit of her new career, which has seen her write a book This Girl Is On Fire: How To Live, Learn And Thrive In A Life You Love in addition to turning it into an app.

“My energy has just grown more and more towards This Girl Is On Fire. The day I left Loose Women, I cried because I was leaving my friends,” she explained.

“But when I got home, I actually got a real sense of peace because I just knew I was starting a whole new chapter. It was scary but it just felt like the right thing to do.”
