Arnold Schwarzenegger has worked as a bodybuilder, actor and politician. Now the 75-year-old icon from Austria is taking on a Hollywood executive position.
On Monday it was revealed the True Lies star – who was at the Cannes Film Festival last week – has been named the Chief Action Officer at the streaming media company Netflix.
The high-profile star of blockbusters such as The Terminator has been named Netflix’s Chief Action Officer.
He has already appeared in a video to explain his new role. ‘No one loves action as much as I do,’ Arnold shared as he was seen in an army tank.
‘That’s why I’ve accepted a big new job as Netflix’s Chief Action Officer.’

The chief: On Instagram his caption reads: ‘Nobody knows action like Arnold. And nobody hits like Netflix’
Arnold then listed off some of the new action movies coming from Netflix.
They include the thriller Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot, Extraction 2, starring Chris Hemsworth, more of the series The Witcher with Henry Cavill.
‘Nobody knows action like I do. And nobody hits like Netflix,’ he said.
On Instagram his caption reads: ‘Nobody knows action like Arnold. And nobody hits like Netflix. Don’t miss FUBAR only on May 25.’
Arnold is even starring in a new Netflix series.
He can be seen in his first TV series, FUBAR, which comes out on May 25. FUBAR is a military term for ‘f***ed up beyond any recognition.’
In FUBAR, Arnold plays the dad to Monica Barbaro’s character. She is best known for her work in Top Gun: Maverick.
