Avril Lavigne Shuts Down Topless Protestor On Juno Awards Stage! Watch!

On Monday night, Avril Lavigne had herself a little What The Hell moment!

The 38-year-old singer was on stage during Canada’s Juno Awards on Monday to introduce a performance by AP Dhillon. It should have been just another normal, polite moment during the north-of-the-border nation’s annual awards ceremony. But suddenly, all hell broke loose in the form of a topless protester!!

While the Complicated singer was presenting to the live audience and television viewers, a woman rushed up on stage and took her shirt off. With boobs hanging out (but nipples covered in pasties), the woman walked around as a confused Avril tried to carry on with her speech.

After a moment, security staffers started moving in. As one guard got to the stage, Lavigne turned to the woman and dressed her down (pun intended!) for the award show interruption:

“Get the f**k off. You’re going to have to go. Get the f**k off, bitch!”

Damn!!!

As the aforementioned security guard ushered the woman down the steps and away from the public, her onstage antics became clear. Written in black marker across her bare skin were several phrases, including:

“Stop Logging Old Growth NOW.”

And:

“Save the Green Belt.”

According to CTV, those messages are pro-environmental slogans referencing a controversial housing development plan being undertaken in Ontario. And Avril’s onstage moment was the right time to air those green grievances? We guess it’s Canada’s version of throwing soup on the Mona Lisa.

Later in the night, Avril got back on stage after winning the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award. In front of the same crowd where she’d been interrupted just moments before, the pop punk princess joked:

“Now nobody try anything this time, or the Canadian will come out in me and I’ll f**k a bitch up.”

But wait a minute! Canadians are notoriously polite, eh? Is there a secret Canadian mean streak we’re not aware of?!

Regardless, you can watch both clips (below):

Ha! We just never saw Avril as the “f**k a bitch up” type. Well, maybe if they stole her Sk8er Boi

Hours after the affair, Avril popped up on Twitter for more. While thanking her backers for the Fan Choice Award, she joked about the on-stage protest:

Ha! Love that she has a great sense of humor about it! Reactions, Perezcious readers??
