Beloved American comedy actress looks unrecognisable as she enjoys a late night stroll in London with Richard E. Grant – but can you guess who it is?

A beloved comedy actress looked unrecognisable as she stepped out for a late night stroll in London on Wednesday. 

She starred in one of the biggest family films of the ’90s with a legendary American child star. 

Joining her on the outing was fellow actor Richard E. Grant who cut a casual figure in a navy plaid shirt and white trousers.

The actress has continued to have a successful career in front of the camera and will soon reprise another one of her beloved roles in the upcoming film Beetlejuice 2.

That’s right – it’s Home Alone star Catherine O’Hara.

The comedian, who is also known for starring on Schitt’s Creek, went for a stroll in South Kensington alongside her pal Richard.

Catherine cut a trendy figure on the outing as she donned a pink blazer along with a pair of grey striped trousers. 

The actress is well remembered for her role as Kate McCallister in Home Alone alongside Macaulay Culkin, who played her son Kevin.

The film, about a boy left home alone on Christmas when his parents forgot to take him on their family vacation, grossed $476 million at the box office. 

Catherine went on to reprise the role in the film’s sequel Home Along 2: Lost In New York which was another box office success. 

She peviously went viral on TikTok when she recreated one of her most memorable scenes from Home Alone when her character realised she forgot her son while on a flight to Paris.

Catherine starred as Moira Rose on the critically acclaimed Schitt’s Creek and won an Emmy for her role at the 2020 awards ceremony.

The TV star’s victory was part of an unprecedented sweep that saw Schitt’s Creek take home nine wins in September.

The show, which also starred Euguene Levy, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy, followed a wealthy family who lose their fortune and are forced to move to a remote town they had purchased for their son as a joke on his birthday.

Catherine is also known for her roles in films including Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind.
