BGT’s Kings and Queens dancer Kerri Donaldson dies as Strictly pros pay tribute

Britain’s Got Talent 2014 semi-finalist Kerri Donaldson, who performed with Kings and Queens, has died, according to her close friend.

The cause of the dancer’s death has not yet been confirmed.

Kerri’s pal and fellow dancer Pasquale La Rocca, who is a pro on the Belgian version of Dancing with the Stars, took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to her.

He wrote alongside photos of the duo: “My heart is aching and there are no words to explain how I feel right now.

“My beautiful, talented special friend Kerri is not longer with us and i still can’t realize it in my head. I want to remember you with that gorgeous smile and I want you to know that you will live in my heart forever.

“I love you so much and I will miss you everyday of my life. Rest in peace Friend.”

Kerri performed alongside Strictly stars Katya Jones, Neils Jones and Kai Widdrington as part of Latin dance troupe Kings and Queens

It wasn’t long before Kerri’s professional dancer friends from Strictly Come Dancing, who she performed with on the BBC show on several occasions, took to Instagram to share their heartache over the news.

Amy Dowden shared a black and white photo of Kerri and wrote: “So shocked and sad @kerri_annedonaldson. Such a beautiful dancer and kind soul.
